Each year since 2010, folks unite to celebrate a sport in its most authentic form.
They lace up their skates and hit the ice for three days of outdoor hockey and cold beers.
Over 275 teams compete in 500+ games across 26 rinks, bringing our sport back to the basics. This is the Pond Hockey Classic New England hosted in Meredith New Hampshire, just a short 35 minute drive from Barn Door Hostel. This years event is happening February 3rd, 4th, and 5th 2023
The Pond Hockey Classic is a grassroots sports event management company specializing in organizing and managing pond hockey events in North America. Through our events, the Pond Hockey Classic is driven to provide the hockey community with a competitive, traditional and nostalgic pond hockey experience.
We are a group of individuals who are dedicated to the creation of an event to benefit everyone involved from local and regional businesses to the hockey community, charitable organizations, sponsors and of course the participants!
Through our pond hockey events, we are able to cater to the passionate hockey fan base which exists right here in North America. We have worked hard to put together a weekend-long tournament that will leave you with smiles on your face, soreness in your muscles and memories to cherish for years to come!
We are passionate about what we do and we hope you, whether a participant, spectator, vendor, sponsor or charity, will join us during tournament weekend to experience everything the Pond Hockey Classic has to offer!
