On-Site Hostel Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree and excellent academic record required

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing

  • Willingness to live on-site at the Hostel

  • Strong Passion for hosting guests

  • At least 1 year of experience managing a team

  • Outstanding records of academic and managerial or professional achievement

  • Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting

  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

  • Willingness to travel

  • Clean driving record and ability to drive a company car

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist with managing and leading a motivated team to achieve the hostel’s target goals.

  • Manage daily operations within your task responsibilities to ensure the hostel is running at optimum performance and maintaining profitability.

  • Hosting and serving guests as they visit White Mountain National Forest while having a fantastic stay and an excellent experience at Barn Door Hostel.

Media Manager

  • Analytical and artistic

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing

  • Strong Passion for hosting guests

  • 2+ year media experience

  • Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting

  • Willingness to travel

  • Clean driving record

WHAT YOU’LL DO

■ Media Production: stage/shoot/edit content and submit digital versions to a specified location (hard drive/cloud storage etc. TBD)

■ Manage Social Platforms: utilizing any of the submitted/finalized products from the contracted timeline to create several social engagement images, cross posted between all social media platforms

■ Document Events: attendance/documentation of events on and off property (30 Stone Hill Rd Rumney NH 03266) Community events, meetups, location specific shots

All media created will be under shared license/ownership between you and Barn Door Hostel LLC unless otherwise noted via written confirmation.
